Historical Sketch
Ernest. E. Miller (1893-1975) was the son of D.D.
Miller (1865-1955). He was ordained to the ministry at
Forks Mennonite by Bishop J.S. Shoemaker on December 9, 1917. He
married Olive Ruth Blosser (1893-1977).

1/1 Photograph Album, circa 1910-20. Includes
many of Goshen College (graduated 1917), but also family, friends,
church, community and teaching days. For example, Miller taught
at Plainview, Texas, 1911-12, and in LaGrange County, Indiana, ca.
1912-18.

pictures among which are a family group of Ernest parental family, D.D.
Millers; Ruth’s mother, Ellen (Mrs. Noah) Blosser; school, wedding, and
children’s pictures. Also P. J. Malagar & wife Satiyawati,
and family. Ernest married them about 1947.

India; Racheed Sultan Yassemi, Kermanchah, Persia, 2/20/1920; Bible
