Menno S. and Levi R. Yoder Collection

9 Boxes

Introduction

Menno and Levi were brothers from the Shipshewana/Middlebury, Indiana area. Most of the material is from Menno who was an inventor/farmer. He seems to be active in issues during and following the Depression that concerned money, social security, and Bible doctrines such as use of time and activities. He was a member of various organizations such as the Greenback Party and Temperance League. Levi's materials reflect a concern with education and to some sense a deeper religous involvement.
