Biographical Sketch

Caleb Winey (1849-1933) was a Mennonite minister in Osborne County and in Peabody, Kansas.

1849 Born on February 24, in Snyder County, Pennsylvania to Bishop Samuel and Sarah Winey

1874 Married Mary Graybill on January 1, lived in Richfield, Pennsylvania

1879 Moved to Osborne County, Kansas in February;
Ordained as a minister of the Osborne County congregation on October 19

1889 Moved to Peabody, Kansas, where he served as a minister for the Catlin congregation

1923 Wife Mary died

1933 Died on August 30 in Goessel Kansas, survived by 1 son and 5 daughters
