Biographical Sketch
John Umble was a schoolteacher, professor of English and Speech at Goshen College 1925-1953. He was the author of Mennonite Pioneers, Ohio Mennonite Sunday Schools, Goshen College 1894-1954, as well as other books and numerous articles in the area of American Mennonite History.
