These papers, tapes, artifacts and posters were deposited into the Archives by Levi Miller, Scottdale, Pennsylvania, which he collected as part of his personal collection from 1990-94, when he was Director of the Historical Committee of the Mennonite Church, Goshen, Indiana.

Amish in Eastern Ohio Symposium, 1990

Held June 22-23, 1990, Walnut Creek, Ohio, and sponsored by the German Culture Museum. Includes papers by Gertrude Enders Huntington on "The Ohio Amish Family;" LeRoy Beachy on History of the Amish Settlement, paper was entitled "The Settling of the Valley;" Levi Miller on "Growing Up Amish;" and Stanley A. Kaufman on "Amish History in Historical Objects."

Gingerich, Katie, Murder, 1993

Newspaper clippings on this story, 1993-95. Katie Gingerich was an Amish housewife killed by her husband Edward on March 18, 1993, at their farmhouse on Sturgis Road, Rockdale Township, located near Cambridge Springs, Crawford County, Pennsylvania.

Tape, Terry Miller on Anabaptism

Cassette tape (90 minute) with Terry Miller's sermon on it entitled "Anabaptism: The Charismatic Movement of the Sixteenth Century." No date; seemingly Miller was a former Hutterite minister.

Commemorative Plate, 1952-54

On front of plate: "We attended the 1952-54 Hammer Tent Revival, sponsored by Christian Layman's Tent Evangelism, Inc., Orrville, Ohio. Christ for the World, The World for Christ." On back of plate: "Hammer Party Personnel, Howard and Dorothy Hammer, Norman and Grace Hockman, and Paul and Carrie Neuenschwander." On indication of when plate was made. 2 plates.

Bi-Centennial Fractur by Ruth, 1975

Fractur drawing by Esther R. Ruth, December 1975, in commemoration of the Bi-Centennial, 1776-1976. Includes two quotations, one by "Thirteen Mennonite Ministers of Pennsylvania, May 15, 1755," on taking up arms.
