was born a Wadsworth, Ohio, in 1881. He was baptized at the Bethel
Mennonite Church by I. J. Buchwalter. He was also ordained at the
Bethel Mennonite Church by I. J Buchwalter. He moved to Bakersville,
California, August 12, 1918, and moved to Albany, Oregon, July 9, 1919.
He was ordained bishop at Albany, Oregon, by J. D. Mishler, J. P.
Bontrager and S. G. Shetler. (Information taken from: Church History of

Includes a copy of a letter to J. C. Wenger, 1959, in which Lind
