These papers were deposited into the Archives by Millard Lind, Goshen, Indiana, in 1972-73 and in 1998.

Biographical Sketch

Lind was born a Wadsworth, Ohio, in 1881. He was baptized at the Bethel Mennonite Church by I. J. Buchwalter. He was also ordained at the Bethel Mennonite Church by I. J Buchwalter. He moved to Bakersville, California, August 12, 1918, and moved to Albany, Oregon, July 9, 1919. He was ordained bishop at Albany, Oregon, by J. D. Mishler, J. P. Bontrager and S. G. Shetler.
