Amos B. Hoover Collection
Papers, 1693-1984
9 Boxes (5 Long Green, 1 Green, 3 Oversize)
Introduction
These materials were deposited into
the archives by Amos B. Hoover,
Denver, Pennsylvania, from 1973-1987. Much of the materials are
photocopies, the originals of which are found at Hoover’s Muddy Creek
library and archives in Pennsylvania. These copies act an insurance
second set, and makes these materials also available from the Goshen
Archives. Elizabeth Horsch Bender has also made transcriptions of the
some of the early handwritten letters – for example, the 1693 Jacob
Amman letter.
