Biographical Sketch
Rufus A. Hartzler was a brother to
Jonas s. Hartzler, church leader from Prairie Street, Elkhart, IN.
Rufus married Nettie Byler. The collection contains some pertinent
information on the Hertzler/Hartzler family, Charles Kettleborough who
was a nationally known political scientist and foster brother to Nettie
Byler Hartzler, and a history on the song and church, "Little Brown
Church."
