Scrapbook, 1978

A collection of letters, photographs, cards and cartoons sent to Esther Graber by missionaries and staff, in commemoration of her service with the Overseas Department at Mennonite Board of Missions, 1950-1978. She was administrative assistant to J. D. Graber and Wilbert R. Shenk during this time.

One of Graber's ongoing tasks was editor of Mission News Sheet, and so the scrapbook was entitled "This is Thursday, Mission News Sheet takes priority, eg. Not for Publication, April 1978."

Includes Esther Graber's Christmas 1977 letter "To the Overseas Missionary Family and Friends who read Mission News Sheet," in which she summaries her work through the years. Also includes a photograph of her.
