Content
Most of the materials in the Daniel D. Brenneman
collection pertain to his work with the Mountain View Mennonite
congregation at Kalispell, Montana.
Biographical
Sketch
1906 Daniel David Brenneman was born September 16,
1906 near Milford, Nebraska.
1913 His parents, with their family, moved to
Tofield, Alberta.
1918 Daniel was baptized September 15, 1918 at the
Salem congregation near Tofield, Alberta. He served as a Sunday
School teacher at the Salem Mennonite Church for a number of
years. He also served as one of the superintendents of the
extension Sunday School at Bathgate, Alberta from the spring of 1937
until the fall of 1941 when the Sunday School there was closed.
1926 He married Mary Ellen Kauffman of Tofield,
Alberta.
1942 Brenneman was ordained to the ministry to serve
the Mountain View Mennonite Congregation near Creston , Montana.
1943 Brenneman and his family moved to Creston,
Montana to begin their service at Mountain View.
1975 Brenneman died. Funeral October 1, l975.
