Biographical Sketch

Benjamin W. Bare (1838-1924) was a Mennonite pioneer in Kansas.

1838 Born on August 25 in Columbiana County, Ohio
Joined the Mennonite Church
1842 Moved to Putnam County, Ohio
1868 Married Magdalena Good; together they had 9 children
1872 Moved to Marion, Kansas; bought land there
1904 Moved to Oklahoma
1919 Magdalena died on April 30
1924 Died on November 30
