Intersection of Long Green Pike and Md. Rt. 147; follow Long Green Pike until intersected by Kane Rd. The church site and cemetery are located along Kane Rd. Long Green, Md.

Church built 1898, cemetery maintained, joined Eastern A.M. Conference in 1899. Extinct since 1953. Church building burned down in 1915. Cemetery maintenance fund of $2,000. Annual inspirational meetings held the first Saturday of August in the Methodist Hall.

6. Started by members of the Leo Mennonite Church, Leo, Ind., who lived in the community about 1944, as mission outpost of the Leo Church, Lost Creek affiliated with the Ohio and Eastern Conference.

Lower Mennonite Meetinghouse c. 1833

Mennonite Road, southwest of Wadsworth, Ohio.

One of two meetinghouses used by the Medina District Mennonites. The first meetinghouse, erected c. 1833, replaced with a new meetinghouse in 1888. The 1888 meetinghouse was remodeled in 1949. The Bethel congregation used the Lower Mennonite meetinghouse from 1872 until 1893 when they built the Bethel Church. The earliest cemetery on the west side of Mennonite -Road directly across from the meetinghouse is not in evidence now. The present cemetery is used by both the Wisler Mennonites and the Bethel Church. Lower Mennonite is now known as the Maple Hill Church, and is a member of the Ohio-Indiana Conference of the Wisler Old Order Mennonites with a membership of 20.
