Memorial Plaque at
South Union Church
This memorial plaque commemorates the one hundredth anniversary of the founding of the permanent Mennonite Sunday school, an important milestone in Christian education. It was erected and dedicated at the South Union Mennonite Church, West Liberty, Ohio.
Mennonite General Conference at West Liberty, Ohio, in 1909
On October 27-29 of 1909 the South Union Church of West Liberty was host to the Mennonite General Conference. Conference sessions were held in the newly enlarged church building and meals were served to the crowd in the tent.
