Anabaptist Farmer and Sons
The above picture shows an Anabaptist farmer and his sons as reproduced on the title page of an almanac dated 1813. The original print is in the archives of the Mennonite Church at Amsterdam. The scene appears as an illustration in Das Schweizerische Taufermennonitentum, a doctoral dissertation on Anabaptist-Mennonite life by Dr. Ernst H. Correll, a student of the late Max Weber.
