MENNONITE HOUR TO INTERVIEW HARDING
Akron, Pa. (MCC)--Vincent Harding, MCC Peace
Section representative in the South, will be a guest on the Mennonite
Hour on Sunday, September 22. He will be interviewed on the subject
of race relations by David Augsburger, a member of the Mennonite
Hour staff.
Harding has served in the South for two years.
He has attempted to be a reconciling link between the estranged
Negro and white communities. Prior to his assignment in the South,
he served as associate pastor of an interracial Mennonite church
in Chicago.
The interview will be part of two broadcasts
(September 22 and 29) on the subject of integration. The Mennonite
Hour can be heard in most United States and Canadian communities.
