ACCESS AND REPRODUCTION OF ARCHIVAL MATERIALS

Staff is committed to provide access to archival collections, by posting inventories on the web, and in responding to questions about sources.  However, staff are unable to provide reproduction of materials through "research by correspondence".  Persons are welcome to come visit the archives found on Goshen College campus, 1700 South Main Street, Goshen, Indiana 46526, to access collections and make copies.  Telephone: (574) 535-7477.  Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8-12 a.m., 1-5 p.m.  All other times by appointment.

Staff will respond to all inquiries from Mennonite Church USA agencies, conferences and congregations, and Mennonite organizations like Mennonite Central Committee and Goshen College, who support and fund the archives.  The archives is responsible to Mennonite Church USA Historical Committee which is part of Mennonite Church USA Executive Leadership.

The Historical Committee serves Mennonite Church USA, the merger of the General Conference Mennonite Church and the Mennonite Church. The Historical Committee nurtures historical consciousness, and operates two denominational archives in Goshen, Indiana, and North Newton, Kansas.
