Introduction
These bound minutes began to be
deposited regularly into
the Archives by the Mennonite Board of Missions in 1971, with the
reorganization
of the Mennonite
Church
and its program boards. Beulah Kauffman
deposited them annually from
1984-86; Ethel Hoffman, Records Manager, did so from 1987-present. The tapes and reports of the Board's
"Listening
Project" were deposited in 1980.
Note that there is also an index to
the Minutes from
January 1973-the present (1997) available from the Executive Office,
Mennonite
Board of Missions, at Elkhart,
Indiana. This index is on index cards, and at one
point, placed on the computer.
