Introduction
The official documents and minutes
of the Mennonite Board of Missions were transferred to the Archives by
the
Mission Board in 1942, by J. D. Graber, Secretary, in 1950, and by the
Mission
Board on a continuing basis in 1958 until 1971.

Mennonite Evangelizing and Benevolent Board, and to the Mennonite Board
of
Charitable Homes and Missions.

Menno S. Steiner as President, C. Z. Yoder as Vice-President, J. S.
Shoemaker
as Secretary, I. R. Detweiler as Field Secretary, G. L. Bender as
Treasurer, S.
H. Musselman as Eastern Treasurer, and Joseph R. Stauffer as Western
Treasurer.
Other names on this "Regulation"
document
include 27 persons named under the "Board of Trustees," 5 persons
named on "Executive Committee", and 21 persons names under five
"Local Board of Trustees" including Chicago Home Mission, Fort Wayne
