Personnel
Files, in 1992. These files includes
applications from persons who wanted to serve the Mennonite Church
as missionaries. The files include
application forms, medical reports from a physician, a Doctrinal
Examination of
the Missionary Candidate, and a "Report of Missionary Candidate." They date from the period, 1918-1950. Some of the applications are marked
“cancelled personnel.”
Members
of the Mission Committee who examined candidates included J. S.
Hartzler, S. E.
Allgyer, S. C. Yoder, and J. D. Graber. Other
members of the Mission
Committee, who signed their okay on the
Doctrinal Examination included Chester K. Lehman, Harry A. Diener, Milo
