Information
The first box of materials, which
included the 1969 statement, and minutes, was cataloged into the
archives by
the archivist in 1972 (Accession #2254).
The two boxes of John Powell's
official records were transferred to the
archives by Ethel Hoffman, Mennonite Board of Missions, Elkhart,
Indiana, in
1985 (Accession #4538). The box of
Lynford Hershey's education program records were deposited into the
archives by
Hubert Schwartzentruber, Mennonite Board of Congregational Ministries,
Elkhart,
Indiana, in 1985 (Accession #4688).
Additional audiovisual materials,
minutes, correspondence and reports, was deposited by Barbara Eichorn,
Mennonite Board of Missions, Elkhart, Indiana in 2002.
Many of these materials came from the
1997 Reunion of the Council.
