Brief Historical Sketch
1951 March 4, 1951, was first broadcast
of a mixed octet on WSVA
radio, Harrisonburg, Virginia. Octet
came out of a Crusaders Quartet, and the broadcast later became known
as The
Mennonite Hour. Persons on program on March 4, 1951 included:
