These personnel records from 1985 on cover
persons who are serving with
the Mennonite Board of Missions under Voluntary Service (VS), Overseas,
Office
Employees, Service Adventure, Winter VS and Summer VS.
Before 1985, the overseas and voluntary service
personnel files were managed separately.
In 2000-01 the Human Resources office
began to administer the Overseas
personnel files along with all the other personnel records.
Personnel records are also found on
a computer base at Mennonite Mission Network (Elkhart, Indiana).
Administrative
Information
The personnel records from 1992 and
1993, and the inventory list, were prepared and deposited by Cindy
Steiner,
Human Resources Assistant on April 8 and 28, 2004.
The 1994 files and inventory were
deposited
by Steiner on December 8, 2004, and the 1995 files and inventory on
October 21,
2005. (Accession # 7189, 2 Boxes Large, 2.5 linear feet)
The inventory
of the 1992 and 1993 files were
finalized by Serena Bracewell, Archives intern, July 30, 2004. The inventory of the 1994 and 1995 finalized
by Dennis Stoesz, Archivist, on October 25, 2005.
