GOSHEN -- Menno A. Kauffman, 81, of 1208 Greencroft Drive, died at 2:20
a.m. Sunday (July 5, 2009) in Greencroft Gables.
He was born Nov. 29, 1927, in Kenmare, N.D., to Alpha and Alma
(Nusbaum) Kauffman. On Feb. 12, 1949, in Goshen, he married Mabel M.
Yoder.
She survives, along with three sons, Robert L. (Donna) Kauffman of
Harrisonville, Pa., Larry L. (Lavina) Kauffman of Hayward, Wis., and
Richard L. (Stella) Kauffman of New Paris; three daughters, Shirley A.
Kauffman and Cheryl A. (Ernest) Shaver, both of Phoenix, and Carol A.
(Glen) Ramer of New Paris; 23
grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Harold (Darlene)
Kauffman of Conrath, Wis.; and one sister, Esther Bontrager of Goshen.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Ezra, Mark, Andrew and
Chancey Kauffman; and one great-granddaughter.
Mr. Kauffman was self-employed. He owned M&M Wood Shavings and
Menno Kauffman Trucking. He also raised poultry for Pine Manor.
A member of Salem Mennonite Church, where he was a former deacon, he
was a 1944 graduate of Hesston Academy.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today, and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8
p.m. Wednesday, all at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, 1911 S. Main St.,
Goshen, and one
hour prior to a 10:30 a.m. Thursday funeral service at Salem Mennonite
Church, C.R. 46, New Paris. Burial will be at the church.

Kauffman, Roy I., 98, of Princeton, Bureau Co., IL died
September 12, 2009 at the same place. He was born March 6, 1911
at Hopedale, Tazewell Co., IL to Noah Daniel and Katherine (Egli)
Kauffman. On February 2, 1991 at Tiskilwa, Bureau Co., IL he was
married to Helen Nafziger, who survives.
Surviving are a daughter, Susan Kauffman Cater, a son, George (Connie)
Kauffman,
12 stepchildren, 8 grandchildren, 26 step-grandchildren, 9
great-grandchildren, 11 step-great-grandchildren, two brothers, Dan
(Elaine) Kauffman; and Walt (Norma) Kauffman; and two sisters, Grace
Nachtigall, and Edith Piper.
His first wife, whom he married on June 1, 1941, Eunice Albrecht died
on Jan. 21,1989. He was also preceded in death by three sisters,
Marion Jones, Rose Mason, and Gertrude Powell and a grandson, Paul
Cater.
Memorial services were held September 16, 2009 at Willow Springs
Mennonite Church, Tiskilwa, Bureau Co., IL.

Kauffmann, Angela Mae, 25, of Las Vegas, passed away
unexpectedly in her sleep, Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009. Born Nov. 5, 1983, in
Las Vegas, she was a lifelong resident. She was a data processing
clerk. Angela was a loving single mother. She enjoyed a good book,
listening to her music collection, the laughter of children, saving
lost animals and being a good friend to the many people who knew her
and loved her. Angela is survived by her two-and-a-half-year-old son,
Landon Kauffmann; parents, John and Suzi Kauffmann; and stepsister,
Lora Berry. There will be a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct.
16, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista
Drive. An inurnment service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at
Palm Memorial Park - Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Donations can be
made to the Landon Bradley Kauffmann Trust Fund.

Melvin Kaufman, 71, of
Sarasota, formerly of Arthur, Ill., died Nov. 16, 2009.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wiegand Brothers
Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Fellowship of
Believers Church. Burial will follow.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Martha; sons Roger of Sarasota
and Gene of Arthur; daughters Cheryl of Greenville, S.C., and Rhonda
Pike of Sarasota; a brother, Harvey of El Salvador; sisters Anna Miller
of Arthur, Sovilla Jess of Arthur and Fannie Herschberger of
Bloomfield, Iowa; and seven grandchildren.
He loved his church and his Tuesday morning prayer group.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five sisters.

Keener, Esther E. Good, 91, of Lancaster, PA formerly of
Middletown and Dry Run, PA, died March 7, 2009 at the Mennonite Home.
She was born in Bainbridge, PA to Martin and Anna Martin Good. She was
the wife of the late Samuel L. Keener who died in 1986.
A member of Elizabethtown Mennonite Church. She previously held
memberships at Shady Pine Mennonite Church, Willow Hill, PA and
Stricklers Mennonite Church, Middletown, PA.
Survived by ten children: James E., husband of Sara Ann Keener, Mount
Joy, PA; Ruby, wife of Don Gochnauer, Manheim, PA; Linda, wife of
Warren Tyson, Brownstown, PA; Bob, husband of Rhoda Keener,
Shippensburg, PA; Paul, husband of Marian Keener, Dry Run, PA; Fred A.
Keener, Dry Run, PA; Sharon, wife of Jerry Yeager, Dry Run, PA; Dan,
husband of Althea Keener, Lancaster, PA; Joanna, wife of John Colby,
Carlisle, PA; Reba, wife of John L. Shuman, Mount Joy, PA; 29
grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and a sister, Edith, wife of Paul
Rohrer.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a
son, Larry S. Keener, two sisters and a brother. A Memorial Service was
