died June 8, 2005 at Landis Homes, Lititz, PA. She was born in Paradise
Twp, Lancaster Co., PA on September 20, 1911, to Daniel D. and
Sue Brackbill Eshleman. She was married to Amos H. Sauder, who
died on February 15, 2000.
She was a member of Metzler Mennonite Church. She served along side and
supported her late husband for forty eight years who was first a
minister, and later a Bishop in the Groffdale District of the Mennonite
Church. She attended church meetings, weddings, funerals, and
ordinations with him, and also, joing him in visiting members
throughout the district.Surviving children are Daniel L., husband of
Lois (Eby) Sauder of Pittsgrove, NJ; David L., husband of Joanne
(Longenecker) Sauder of Akron, PA; Marian R., wife of Orville Egli of
Hopedale, IL; Marvin R., husband of Betty (Nolt) Sauder of Ephrata, PA;
Anna Mary Sauder of Ephrata, PA and Evelyn Mae Sauder of Akron, PA.
Also, 17 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. She was preceded in
death by a daughter Grace, wife of Jacob Good, a grandson and a great
granddaughter, two brothers, Clarence B. and Christian H. Eshleman, and
a sister, Susanna A. Eshleman.
Funeral service was June 13, 2005 at Metzler Mennonite Church with
ministers, Richard E. Buch, Roy B. Martin, and D. Eugene Zoll
officiating.

Sauder, Daniel Ellsworth 91, of Litiz, PA formerly of Akron,
died November 16, 2005 at Landis Homes, Litiz, PA. He was born Apr 29,
1914 near Akron, PA, to Amos B. and Anna (Hoover) Sauder. He is
survived by his wife of 21 years, Arlene E. (Smith) Sauder. He was also
married 46 years to Edna M. (Hershey) Sauder, who died in 1982.
He was a member of Metzler Mennonite Church, West Earl Twp. Lancaster
Co., PA.
He was a retired Farmer and volunteered as a tour guide at the Hans
Herr House and at the Lancaster Mennonite Historial Society and
Mennonite Central Committee.
Survived his 2nd wife, and five sons, D. Clinton, husband of Alice
Musser Sauder, Carlisle, PA; Clyde, husband of Arlene Hostetter Sauder,
Lititz, PA; Nelson, husband of Barbara Good Sauder, Akron, PA; Clair,
husband of Nancy Rohrer Sauder, Lancaster, PA and John E., husband of
Janet Good Sauder, Ephrata, PA; four daughters, Sarah Ann, wife of
Reuben Horning, Akron, PA; Lois Jean Sauder, Ephrata, PA; Naomi, wife
of Samuel Burkholder, Lititz, PA and Esther Mae, wife of Raymond
Sensenig, New Holland, PA. Step children, Darlene E., wife of Richard
Hufford, Akron, PA Jane E., wife of Kenneth Hufford, Ephrata, PA and
William L., husband of Elizabeth R. Smith, Manheim, PA. There are 30
surviving grandchildren, 43 surviving great grandchildren, 8 step
grandchildren, 22 step great grandchildren, and 2 step great great
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Philip Daniel Sauder, a step
grandson, Timothy Lee Smith and great grandson, Joel Anthony Horning,
his brother, Rev. Amos Sauder, and his sisters, Barbara High, Esther
Reist, Minnie Weaver, Lizzie Ebersole, Anna Groff and Emma Sauder.
Funeral Services was November 21, 2005 at the Metzler Mennonite Church,
Ephrata, PA.

OH. He was born June 1, 1910 at Archbold, OH to Albert & Ida
(Weaver) Sauder. On November 19, 1933 he was married to Huldah
Baer, who is deceased.
Surviving are children, David (Sharon) Sauder; James(Judith) Sauder;
Sandra Sauder; 9 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by children: Marie Sauder and Charles (Sandra) Sauder; and
siblings, Roy Sauder and Harley Sauder.

Floyd H. Sauder, 95, Archbold,
died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005
in Fairlawn Haven Nursing home, Archbold, where he had been a resident
since
2002.
Born June 1, 1910, near Archbold, he was a son of Albert and
Ida (Weaver) Sauder.
On Nov. 19, 1933,
he married Huldah Baer, and she preceded him in death Dec. 28, 1997.
A lifelong Archbold area resident, he worked at Sauder
Woodworking Co., Archbold, the former Archbold Ladder Co., and the
former
Northwest Silo Co., Pettisville.
He and
His wife made and sold noodles under the trade name Marge's Noodles.
A member of
Central
Mennonite Church,
he served on the board of directors for Grace Gospel Mission,
Toledo, for over
20 years, and sang in the
Wauseon Men's Chorus.
Survivors include two sons, David (
Sharon)
Sauder, Wauseon, and James (Judith) Sauder,
Indianapolis, Ind.;
several grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services were Friday, at Fairlawn Chapel, Charles Gautsche,
Dale Wyse, Edward Diener, and James Roynon, were the officiating
pastors.
Burial was in
Pettisville Cemetery.

Flanangan, IL died October 17, 2005 at
Flanagan, IL of an aggressive form of cancer. She was born
September 29, 1918 at Elkhart, IN to Rev. William B. & Fanny
(Stoltzfus) Weaver.
On May 2, 1943 she was married to LaVerne Schertz, who is deceased.
Surviving are children, Marilyn (Louis Boulanger) Schertz, Glenn
(Sandra) Schertz, and Donita (Michael) Herr; 6 grandchildren, and 4
great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are siblings, Willis Weaver, Normal, IL; David Weaver,
Avon Lake, OH; Florence Cate, Gresham, OR; and Joy Thutt, Akron, OH.

Souderton, PA died October 13, 2005 at
Souderton, PA. He was born January 16, 1922 to.
On January 22, 1944 he was married to Jean Moyer who survives.
Surviving are children, Judith Gerber, Mary Jane Crockett, Michael
Schmell, and 9 grandchildren.
Also surviving are sisters, Marion Rice, Stsella Schmell, and Eleanor
Schmell.
Predeceased by daughter, Bette Schmell and siblings, Edward Schmell,

ARCHBOLD - Mary I. Schrock,
91, of Archbold, died Wednesday
morning, July 20, 2005, at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home in Archbold,
where she
had resided since Jan. 29, 2004. Born Nov. 10, 1913, near Archbold, to
Mary
(Wyse) and Charles Crossgrove, she married Waldo O. Schrock on Aug. 12,
1937,
and he preceded her in death on July 12, 1990.
She was a resident of the Fayette area for 36 years before
moving to Archbold in 1988. She worked in general production at various
places
and after retiring worked at Sauder Village.
A charter member
of the Salem Mennonite
Church near Waldron,
Mich., she had since been a member of
the Central
Mennonite Church
near Archbold.
Surviving are two sons, Weston (and wife, Marilyn) Schrock
of West Unity and Thurman (Marilyn) Schrock of Wauseon; a daughter,
Mrs. Dale
(Mary Ida) Kunkle of Fayette; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren;
two
stepgreat-grandchildren; and a sister, Laura Baer living at Fairlawn
Haven in
Archbold.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her
parents; a son, Daniel; a great-grandson, Matthew Aaron Schrock; five
brothers,
Franklin Crossgrove, Henry Crossgrove, Walter Crossgrove, Ralph
Crossgrove and
Chauncey Crossgrove; and a sister, Cora Crossgrove. Visitation will be
held
Friday from 2-8 p.m. in the Fairlawn Chapel, Archbold.
Memorials services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the
Fairlawn Chapel with Pastors Wanda Stopher and Robert Stuckey to
officiate.
Interment will precede in the Pettisville Cemetery.

married to Daniel S Sensenig, who is deceased.

Weaver. She was predeceased by a sister, Elsie Hess whose

Sensenig, Susan Brubaker, 62, of 123 Martindale Road, Ephrata,
died Sunday, July 24, 2005, at home. Born in Union Grove, East Earl
Township, she was a daughter of the late David and Anna (Weaver)
Brubaker. She was the wife of Milton N. Sensenig.
She was a member of Pequea Mennonite Church.
Survived by her husband, are six children, Mary Sue (Sensenig),
married to Carl N. Martin of New York; Ruth Ann Sensenig of At Home;
John C., married to Angela (Lapp) Sensenig of Ephrata, PA; Leon D.,
married to Mary Esther (Hoover) Sensenig, Esther Mae (Sensenig),
married to Joel Martin of Ephrata, PA and Jason L., married to Kristy
(Landers) Sensenig of Ephrata, PA; 13 grandchildren, 2 sisters, Ella
Mae (Brubaker), married to John Eby of Ephrata, PA and Nancy Brubaker
of Terre Hill, PA and 2 brothers, Luke, married to Roxie(Seioff)
Brubaker and Earl, married to JoAnna (Groff) Brubaker, both of East
Earl, PA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David Brubaker.
Services were July 28, 2005 at the Farmcrest Chapel at Fairmount Homes
with further services at the Pequea Mennonite Church, Redwell Road, New
Holland with Bishop Jeremiah Sensenig officiating. Interment was in
Pequea Mennonite cemetery.

M. Short, 89, of Archbold, died Friday afternoon, Nov. 4, 2005, at the
home of
her daughter near Stryker.
Born Aug. 5, 1916, near Archbold, to Ida (Short) and Adolph
Stamm, she married Harold J. Short on Nov. 23, 1941, and he preceded
her in
death on Jan. 18, 1999.
A lifelong resident of the Archbold area, she worked at
Pettisville Packing and then at Pettisville Food Locker for several
years, and
later did cleaning for the Archbold Medical Group. She was a volunteer
at Care
& Share in Archbold for many years. She was a member of the
Central Mennonite Church
near Archbold.
Surviving are seven sons, Gerald (and wife, Janet) Short of
Granite Falls, Wash., William (Kathleen) Short of Pettisville, Delvin
Short of
Toledo, Jerry Short of Everett, Wash., David (Louise) Short of
Arlington,
Wash., Donald (Nancy) Short of Scott, La. and Harold Jr. (Nancy) Short
Jr. of
Everett, Wash.; a daughter, Mrs. Jay (Betty) Tingley of Stryker; 25
grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Zigler of

Park, Fla.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband, were her

(Grieser) Snyder who survive.

Stauffer, Leon Lamar, 44, of Wernersville, PA died November 23,
2005 at The West Reading Medical Center, West Reading, PA. He was born
Feb 10, 1961 in Lancaster, PA to Willard B. Stauffer and the late Grace
Hollinger Stauffer. He was the husband of Dolores Ann Horst Stauffer.
They celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary on October 16th of this
year.
He was a member and pastor of The Green Terrace Mennonite Church,
Wernersville,PA. The Living Hope International Ministries where he
served as a board member, Gordonville, PA.
Surviving is his wife, his father, Willard B. Stauffer and stepmother,
Nora Weaver Horst Stauffer of Schoeneck, PA; his sons: Andrew Leon,
Brian Lee, Christopher Allen, Daniel Ray, Elvin Scott and Franklin

14, 1945 he was married to Ruby Voth, who survives.

Stutzman, Hazel B. Rediger
Hazel B. Stutzman, of Milford,
died Friday, January 14, 2005, at Crestview Care Center in Milford at
the age of 83 years, 8 months and 6 days.
She was born May 8, 1921, on her parent's farm four miles northwest of
Milford, Nebraska to Ben B. & Katie E. (Bender) Rediger, the third
of five children. As a young girl, Hazel attended Stauffer Country
School near Milford. She accepted Christ in her youth and was baptized
at East Fairview Mennonite Church, later joining Bellwood Mennonite
Church on Sept 27, 1959. On May 4, 1941, Hazel was united in marriage
to Melvin Stutzman at East Fairview Mennonite Church and to this union
a son and two daughters were born, Pauline, Bruce and Brenda. Together
they shared the joy for 56 years.
Hazel and Melvin shared responsibilities of farming and raising
livestock over the years. She also cleaned people's houses for a period
of time. Hazel was a caregiver to many and always available to help
when and where needed. She also enjoyed her time spent with her
grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. She loved to sew and
quilt. Many have received her baby quilts over the years made by her.
Hazel was also excellent at cleaning, restoring and making clothing for
dolls in which she would acquire from various individuals as well as
from auctions, garage sales and such. Her restoration of these dolls
were outstanding and she became quite good at it. In addition, she
enjoyed gardening, canning and baking, as well as collecting red
cardinal memorabilia in her sunroom. Hazel was active with the
Mennonite Women of the church and served on various church committees
and was a bible school teacher for many years.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce & Karen
Stutzman of Ozark, MO, daughters and sons-in-law, Pauline & Gerald
Eigsti, of Milford and Brenda & Dick Meyer of Laguna Niguel, CA,
six grandchildren, Shelly and Raymond Anderson, Omaha, Ashley and Brett
Wubbena, Amber and Sudan Grant and Brandon Stutzman, all of
Springfield, MO, Richard and Rustin Meyer, Pacific Beach, CA, four
great-grandchildren, Raymond IV, Gabriel, Blakely and Nicholas
Anderson, all of Omaha, sisters, Agnes Yeackley, Milford and Lila
Fortier, Concord, CA, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ruth Rediger,
Marcille and Henry Friesen, Mary & Burdette Burkey, all of Milford,
a brother-in-law, Delmer Roth of Seward, many nieces, nephews and a
host of other relative and friends.
Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Melvin in 1997, an
infant granddaughter, Danielle Stutzman in 1974 and two brothers,
Merlin and Leland Rediger.
Services are 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 16, 2005, at Bellwood Mennonite
Church, Milford, with Rev. Marlin Kym officiating. Interment will be
prior to services at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Blue Mound Cemetery, Milford.
Visitation is 2-5:00 p.m. Saturday and 10:00 am to noon on Sunday at
Lauber-Moore Funeral Home, Milford. In addition, visitation with family
where they will receive friends and relatives will be from 6-8:00 p.m.
Saturday at church. Memorials have been established and may be directed
to the Bellwood Mennonite Church or to the Crestview Care Center
Hospice Room Establishment Fund. Lauber-Moore Funeral Home, Milford, is
in charge of arrangements.

Lela M., 94, of
Hesston, Harvey Co., KS, died December 2,
2005 at Hesston/Harvey, KS. She was born July 1, 1911 at
Chappell, NE to Wesley C. & Emma (Yoder) Stutzman. On April
19, 1938 she was married to Perry Stutzman, who is deceased.
Surviving are children, Delores (and Sanford) Headings; and Marva (and
Jim) Blough; 6 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are sisters, Cora Stauffer and Thelma Stutzman.
Predeceased by a brother, Paul Stutzman.
The funeral was held December 5, 2005 at Hesston Mennonite Church,
Hesston, Harvey Co., KS, with burial in Eastlawn Cemetery, Hesston,
Harvey Co., KS.
She was a member of Mennonite Church USA.

In Memory Of Lester S. Stutzman Lester S. Stutzman,
of Milford, died Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at Crestview Care Center
in Milford at the age of 96 years, 3 months and 28 days. He was born on
a farm near Shickley in Fillmore County, Nebraska, the youngest of
seven children to Sanford and Lizzie (Khuns) Stutzman. Lester was
baptized at West Fairview Mennonite Church where he accepted Christ as
his personal Saviour. As a young boy he attended Walnut Creek Country
School District #16 near Beaver Crossing. On February 11, 1932, Lester
was united in marriage to Velma Irene Martin at the family home during
a snowstorm. To this union four children, Richard, Dorothy, Donald and
an infant son, were born. Together they made their home on a farm
near Beaver Crossing where Lester farmed until the mid 1960's. They
then moved to Goehner and Lester operated a road maintainer for Seward
County until he retired at 70. In retirement, he continued to enjoy
raising a large garden including popcorn and sweetcorn, until 1999 when
they moved to Milford and made their home at Linden Village. Lester's
health began to fail and he moved to Crestview Care Center in May of
2005. Although he was a perfectionist when it came to straight rows in
the field or washing a car, including the underside, Lester enjoyed
giving and receiving hugs and telling others he loved them, especially
his family members. He had a spiritual interest in all his
children. Lester was a long-time member of West Fairview
Mennonite Church and later became a member of Bellwood Mennonite Church
in Milford. Lester is survived by his wife of 73 years, Velma
Stutzman, Milford, son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Thelma
Stutzman, Beaver Crossing, daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Paul
Stutzman, Wood River, daughter-in-law, Judy Stutzman, Beaver Crossing,
10 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren,
numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and
friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son,
son, Donald, grand daughter, Janelle, brother, Bert, sisters, Jemiah
Burkey, Cassie Schweitzer, Amanda Stutzman, and twin sisters, Iva
Miller and Ida Roth. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m.
on Saturday, December 31, 2005, at Bellwood Mennonite Church with Rev.
Orlan Koehn officiating. Interment will be in Milford Mennonite Church.
Visitation 10am-5pm Friday and 9am - noon Saturday, Lauber-Moore
Funeral Home, Milford and one hour before services at the church on
Saturday. Family will greet friends 6-8 pm Friday at the church.
Memorials have been established to Bellwood Mennonite Church or
directed in care of the family. Pallbearers are grandsons, Ernie,
Gordon, Mike, Brad, Craig, Tom and Kirk Stutzman. Honorary Pallbearers
are Vickie Roth, Jeri Knapp and Lori Kennel.
