MARTIN, Joan M.

Born: 8-2-1953, Goodville, Lancaster Co., Pa.   Died: 6-11-2001, Stevens, Lancaster Co., Pa.

Wife of: Nelson M. Martin for 26 years.  Daughter of: Eugene H. and Grace M. Shirk Sauder of Denver, Pa.

Mother of: Janella J. Martin, at home, and Jennifer L. (Tyler) Weaver of Denver, Pa.; a son, Andrew S. of Denver.
Sister: Donna (James H.) Mast of Mt. Pleasant Mills, Pa.
Brothers: Robert L. Sauder of East Earl, Pa., and Jay (Lucinda Neff) Sauder, and Glen (Brenda Auker) Sauder, all of New Holland, Pa.

Joan was a member of Lichty Mennonite Church, Terre Hill, Pa.  She enjoyed sewing and camping with friends and family.

Services: Martindale Mennonite Church, 171 Hurst Road, Ephrata, Pa. on Thurs. at 2:00 p.m. with Bishop Nelson L. Bowman, the Rev. Phillip Groff, and the Rev. Earl M. Sensenig officiating.  Interment to follow in Lichty Mennonite Cem., Terre Hill, Lancaster Co., Pa.

MILLER, Aaron P.
Born: 3-28-1917, Upper Leacock Twp., Lancaster Co., Pa. Died: 6-4-2001, Bird-In-Hand, Pa.

Husband of: Mary Blank Miller, who survives.

Son of: The late Christ B. and Sarah Petersheim Miller.

Survived by: Sons, Christ (Rebecca Beiler) Miller, and David (Sylvia Beiler) Miller, both of Bird-In-Hand, Pa.
Daughters: Amanda (Daniel) Esh, Jr., Elizabeth (Amos Z.) Glick, both of Bird-In-Hand, and Nancy (Benjamin) Lapp of Intercourse, Pa.
Sisters: Rebecca Lapp of Gap, Pa. and Nancy (Ben) Kauffman Of Bird-In-Hand, Pa.

He was preceded in death by two sons, John and Aaron B. Miller. Aaron was a farm equipment dealer for Miller Repair of Bird-In-Hand, Pa.

He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Services: From the Mervin Esh home, Gibbons Road, Bird-In-Hand, on Wed. at 9:00 a.m. standard time.  Interment Myers Amish Cem., Leola, Pa.

Miller, Florence Helmuth Bleile


Oct. 18,1930-Nov. 28, 2001

GOSHEN - Florence Miller-Bleile, 71, of 1425 Pembroke Circle died at 4:10
p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 28,2001) at St. Vincent's Hospital    in Indianapolis. She had been ill since July.

Mrs. Bleile  was born to Levi H. and Anna (Gerber) Helmuth in Elkhart County on Oct. 18, 1930,and married Ervin Miller on June 1, 1951. He died on Aug. 5, 1999.

She married Gerald Bleile on July 21, 2001, in Nappanee and he survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Ken (Anna) Beachy of Nappanee; two sons, Lavone (Mary) Miller and Ervin E. (Regina) Miller, both of New Paris; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Don (Rita K.) Berger and Mrs. Edward (Marianne) Neufeldt of Wakarusa; nine grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Edward (Laura) Yoder of Patridge, Kan., Mrs. Clarence (Mary) Shrock of Sedalia, Mo., and Mrs. Mahlon (Irene) Miller of Nappanee.

Two brothers, Joe and Christ Helmuth, preceded her in death.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee Chapel. An hour of visitation will precede the funeral service at 3 p.m. Sunday at Nappanee Missionary Church. The graveside service will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Violett Cemetery. The Rev. Marvin Engbrecht and the Rev. Norm Reimer will officiate.

Mrs. Bleile was a homemaker and retired nursing assistant, a member of Nappanee Missionary Church and a volunteer at Oaklawn.
