IX-12-1
Mennonite Central Committee
Reports, 1940-1959
27 Boxes (Prontos)

Introduction

These records were transferred to the Archives by William Snyder, Executive Secretary, Mennonite Central Committee, in 1971.

These files represent the reports generated by Mennonite Central Committee from about 1940 to about 1959. While many of the reports were generated by MCC staff, some were collected from various organizations with which MCC was involved.

A good overview of the program and activities of MCC for this time period, can be found in the annual workbook, 1944 - present. Correspondence for this time period, 1940-1959, was filed separately from the reports, and is found in section IX-6-3. The earlier correspondence and reports from 1918-1935 can be found with the Russian Relief and Paraguayan Immigration materials, IX-1, IX-2, and IX-3.

Many documents are undated originally. Some documents were dated to create this listing by the compiler based on the locations of the documents and the filed dates, and some simply left with ?s on the listing.
